Conditions of Entry
The basis of entry into Germany is adherence to the entry regulations. Detailed travel regulations can be found on the German Embassy website in your home country.
The entry regulations are different and depend on the purpose of visit.

If you would like to study, then you must be able to prove, in a German or English translation, that you possess the necessary academic qualification and can finance the study.

1. PLEASE NOTE:
Please note that in order to study in Germany, you need to prove proficiency in the German language. Most studies require 400-1000 lesson hours.

2. PLEASE NOTE:
Please make sure that all translations are notarized and all documents are authenticated by the Germany Embassy or Consulate in your country. Save yourself the hassles before you get here!

3. PLEASE NOTE:
Ask about GASP Pick Up Service from the airport and help with police registration, the immigration agency, the bank, ticket service for public transportation, insurance mediation and support for resolving issues that occur after entering Germany.

4. PLEASE NOTE:
Please note that upon entering Germany, there are going to be a number of expenses that you must pay for. You should have at least 500 available on hand (1000 being better), outside of the funds in your bank balance or from a scholarship. Cashing a check can take 10 to 30 days and the process of setting up an account can take from 2 to 7 days.
